became fascinated with children's ENT problems while in training at
King's College Hospital in London, England

effects of intubation on the neonatal larynx
- 1984/9 He completed a
comprehensive training in paediatric ENT at the prestigious Hospital for
Sick Children, Great Ormond Street.
- 1986/9 He spent 2 fellowships at
Children's Hospital, Cincinnati, USA and was Director of Paediatric ENT
